Hello! I just wanted to share some good news with you all. My short story “Habits of a Brokenhearted Man” has been accepted for publication by Pembroke Magazine!
From their website: “Published at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke, Pembroke Magazine has been printed annually since its founding in 1969. It has grown from a student publication of forty-eight pages to a book-length publication international in scope, featuring poetry, fiction, nonfiction, interviews, and visual art from North Carolina, the United States, and beyond.”
The issue of the magazine my short story will appear in should come out in May of this year. And, folks, you read right, it’s a print issue. So if you want to read the short story, you’re going to have to shell out the big bucks 😉

Hello and happy New Year to all! The new year has greeted me with the acceptance of my short story “Flight” by The Wrath-Bearing Tree.
From their website: “Established by combat veterans and maintained by a diverse board of veterans, military spouses, and writers compelled by themes of social justice and human resilience, The Wrath-Bearing Tree publishes essays, reviews, fiction, and poetry on military, economic, and social violence written by those who have experienced military, economic, and social violence or their consequences.”
The story is slated to appear in March 2022 online.

My weird/dark short story “Phantom Touches” was just accepted for publication in the online magazine 34 Orchard. The journal “delights in exploring what haunts us all.
