Just a short note to let you know that I’ve received word that plans for the anthology Haunted Houses, Haunted Souls have been canceled. The reason the publisher (Twelve House) gave was a bit vague, but it seems like there weren’t enough quality submissions to fill up the anthology. This doesn’t necessarily spell the end for the publication of “Phantom Touches,” as there are more venues out there that I haven’t tried sending the story to yet. It’ll hopefully find a good home soon.
My weird/dark fiction short story “Phantom Touches” was picked up for a forthcoming anthology entitled Haunted Houses, Haunted Souls. The anthology’s editor is Scáth Beorh and the publisher is Twelve House.
As Beorh writes on Twelve House’s website: “Haunted Houses represent stark naked horror for some, thrilling mysteries for others, the possibility for some of seeing ghosts and thus proving an afterlife, and a solid metaphor of the fallen human condition for yet others. Let your imagination run wild…with terror or otherwise.”
I will drop another note once the anthology is published and available for purchase.
My weird fiction short story “The Book” was picked up by Vastarien: A Literary Journal and is to be published this year. Vastarien is a journal inspired by Thomas Ligotti and his corpus, and publishes short fiction, poetry, essays and the occasional play, all of a dark bent.
I will post another note here once the story is published and the issue in which it appears is available for purchase. Alternatively, you can FOLLOW me (see sidebar) and receive in your inbox a message anytime I post news.
