Amar Benchikha is a writer of stories. His literary fiction has appeared in journals such as The Carolina Quarterly, The MacGuffin and New Plains Review, while his weird fiction has been showcased in Nightscript and Vastarien.
He is an American born and raised in western Europe, and a graduate of Lehigh University with a B.S. in Chemical Engineering and a minor in Philosophy. After a dozen years spent in the States, working first as an engineer, then as a ski patroller and whitewater raft guide, he returned to Italy where he teaches ESL, French and mathematics.
